Had to try after reading all the reviews and my family of four ordered the highly recommended plates from this review forum. Pasta with European Lobster was our favorite but the mussels, fried calamari, spaghetti veneziano, and lasagna were amazing. The lasagna was something my son ordered out of nowhere but that pasta melted in your mouth - phenomenal! Our covered table by the canal was refreshing on a very warm September day. Our daughter loved watching the water taxis drive by. A complimentary shot of limoncello for the adults and pieces of chocolate candy for the kids after our lunch was a nice added touch. Easily one of our top restaurants in our 4 days here in Venice! Thank you, Rio Novo Ristorante!!! Such a delicious and memorable experience!

10/10 great for couples! Must place to visit if you're in Venice. Everything was absolutely perfect the service was excellent, super friendly and welcoming staff, the scenery outside is lovely and charming. Food was on another level incredible! We had the scollops to start with which was their special not included on the menu so you must ask for it, and then we had the lobster Pasta which was fantastic! Romantic and yummy evening. Great for couples, highly recommended.
Honestly the best pasta I have ever had! Absolutely delicious and the lobster is out of this world! What made it even better is the views sitting outside and the service, so friendly and inviting! We loved it that much we plan to go back before the end of our trip. 10/10 ️ Friendly and attentive waiter
Not only the food was great but also the ambience was pretty comfortable. All the staffs were cordial and friendly. I specially thank Max for his warm support during the whole dinner. Also, the person who served us was nice enough to help us with cutting the giant Lobster. I clearly recommend the restaurant for having a romantic evening served with wide variety of wine , seafood and so on.
Delicious food, friendly staff, complimentary limoncello. We had a fish soup, which was amazing, and pasta Veneziano, which was very good too. The only thing I didn't like was a lot of people passing very close to the tables. But it's Venice, there're always lots of people.
